The Foundation's Advisory Board, in conjunction with the Commissioning Committee, works to bring the voice of Massachusetts into the experience of the Sailors and Families of the Submarine Massachusetts. Executive representation on the Advisory Board from leaders with connection to Massachusetts ensures that the state's institutions, capabilities, and resources are available to fulfill the Mission and Vision of the USS Massachusetts Foundation. Joseph Dunford
General (Ret)
General Joe Dunford served as the 19th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. In that capacity, he was the senior ranking U.S. officer and the principal military advisor to the President, Secretary of Defense, and the National Security Council.
Mike founded ThayerMahan in order to accelerate the United States’ ability to effectively and efficiently monitor ocean activity using autonomous systems. He serves as the company's CEO - driving direction and decision-making.
